printer driver

I have tried to install the latest driver for a canon i560 printer under Win XP. Installation begins without problem but towards the end I get the following message:
"Add printer driver error" Access refused.
So I can't get my new printer to work because the driver can't be installed.
I am the administrator. I have removed existing printer drivers, but I must admit that even when you think you know it all, you don't!
Anybody out there had the same problem? What's the easy solution? I've looked around but, well you can never find the sol u r looking for, can you!

Well it seems after 24 hours that my problem is unknown to the
people who read this forum. When I find the solution I'll put it on.

Usually this error is caused by not having admin rights or security settings in the registry.

Check this out, isn't for your printer but I'll bet the problem is the same:
