I was wondering if anyone has been able to successfully use the Mobile
PhoneTools with Windows 98 SE. I currently am trying to connect my v620
to the pc via the USB cable using the Mobile PhoneTools and am having
problems transferring multimedia files.

I've also tried to use the Bluetooth method, but still have no luck
transferring multimedia files between the phone and the pc.

Several newsgroups posters have suggested that my problems are caused by
Windows 98 SE, so I am trying to determine what Windows versions Mobile
PhoneTools users are using.

If anyone has been able to use Mobile PhoneTools with Windows 98 SE,
will you please let me know whether you did something special to connect
the phone to the pc?

Thanks for your help...

If you do upgrade, do yourself a favor and go all the way to XP.

I'm using MPT 4.11 (auto-upgraded from 3.11) with Win98SE. I'm connecting
my V400 via a Motorola branded USB cable.
