The only disappointment is I cannot get the Corsair Twin-X 3200CL2 to run at it's advertised timing of 2-3-3-6. I only have stability at the auto SPD setting of 3-3-3-8.
Any advice on this problem? Tried bumping up the voltage and runnng at 2.5-3-3-7 but I had no success.
Corsair advertises the memory is supposed to run at 2-3-3-6 on the Intel D875PBZ motherboard. I think they're full of $hit.
d00d that Prescott is really a bad purchase, IMO. It's worse overall than a 3.2GHZ P4, is tons hotter, and you could've saved and gotten some Athlon 64 that beats it right off.

Sometimes you have to take what the store has in stock.
I wanted a Northwood 3.20 but all they had were Prescott 3.20. I did get the Prescott for the price of the Northwood. It's the memory I am disappointed with. I can't get the advertised clock speed.
This is only my personal opinion.
I will never buy an AMD cpu until AMD designs and makes a chipset to go with the cpu.
And what's wrong with Nvidia's or SiS' chipsets? Are you really always buying CPU company-specific chipsets only? And if so, why?

I bought a new 'leet' pewter too. It shiny and I can drink beer out of it.
What more, besides big hooters, could you ask for?

Well so far so good.
I changed the power supply to an Antec 380W True Power with serial ATA power connectors.
I can run the memory at 2-3-3-6 and boot into Windows.
But the system doesn't feel stable.
I returned the Corsair XMS Twin-X PC3200 for OCZ Platinum Series PC3200 Enhanced Latency.
OCZ has a SPD setting of 2-3-3-6 and works great at stock voltage of 2.625V.
No crashes or errors.
WHAT?! Dude, that's a big lie, I love big hooters. Why the hell do u think I never pay attention in math class: I'm either sleeping or staring at this chick who sits in front and to the side of me!
