Hi guys. Just need a few suggestions here.
I installed the Telocity software on WinME recently and was informed by Telocity (after waiting 2 hrs) that it is not compatible with WinME. I uninstalled the software thereafter. It seems like my DSL line still had some problems so I settled on using my dialup connection(AOL) for the meantime. It can connect to AOL just fine -- I can check email and send instant messages -- but I cannot access any other pages (ie hotmail, yahoo).
I tried the AOL browser, IE 5.5, Netscape 6, and Opera 5.01, so it's not a browser issue.
I called AOL tech support and they said the installation software must have messed up some setting on my PC.
I called Telocity tech support and they said it was an issue on AOL's side.
I haven't had any problems with AOL for years prior to installing that damned Telocity software.
Any ideas what I can do to fix it?

Describe the problem a little better, here are a few likely culprits:
(1) In Control Panels under INternet Options, make sure your Connetion settings point to a dialup account, not LAN.
(2) The telocity bundle may have installed some sort of firewall software that starts at system bootup, best way to check is to type MSCONFIG at the RUN prompt.
(3) Make sure you dont have any proxy settings other than defaults

Just a few ideas
