I have a pair of mics with a diameter of 22 mm that I would like to be able
to hang. The only kinds of mounts I've seen are for smaller choir-type
microphones. Anyone know if such a harness exists for a larger diamter mic?
Thanks.

Go to www.neumann.com
click on info pool
select type accessory parts
scroll down and select Auditorium Hanger MNV 21 mt

the other option is just using a string to the front of the mic and connect
to the cable a foot or so from the connector..... adjust length for desired
angle.....

That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot. Now to find out what
quality gold this thing's made of.

Glad to be of help, they are about $40... and are made for Gotham GAC-2 size
cable .21 inch diameter or smaller.

Another cheaper alternative is to use your existing stand mount, and a six
inch or longer stub of a stand or an adapter to 1/4 inch available at photo
stores... then a 6 inch or longer 1/4 inch bolt..... use gaffer tape to
tape the cord back to the 1/4 inch bolt....

An option is to go for the Microphone "slug" on the market- AEA sells one
for about $10. Basically a little piece of metal with a 5/8"-27 thread and
a groove for a cable. Then you use whatever mount you already own for the
mic...
