Great, have been messing with F4 for years, have installed every
version and modification known to man successfully, and now I buy this
"All fixed version" and after two clean installs all I get is a black
screen. I DO get tthe little jet cursor and the parachute cursor when
it quits but no graphics. Tried -nomovie to no avail...

Sheesh.....

I don't have it yet, but I was getting the SAME thing with
F 4 + FF3 + Cobra 1 patch (what I am currently using now) and
it took turning off AA on my FX 5900 Ultra to get it to stop.

Don't know if this is your problem, but it fixed mine.

I am currently in a campaign, with only one CTD so far.............

Found the answer on Frugal's.. Turn off Anti-Aliasing on my 6800 GT.
