db Technologies Support in the USA

Last week I emailed db's US distributor seeking pointers to northern
California dealers, and as of yet have heard no response. I found a
dealer via Google (not nor Cal) and while I'm tempted to try a pair of
powered stage monitors I'm not eager to wind up with kit that isn't well
supported in this portion of the world. Thoughts and/or experiences?

Is anyobody in the US even actually _using_ db technologies speakers?
Anecdotal info gathered so far is from UK and european users.
