Need Info: CH Products

OK I'm looking at a new controler set up after a few years break in flight
sims.

I was using a Thrustmaster FLCS and thought about the Cougar but shipping to
Canada alone is $100 on top of the price and duty. A CH Fighterstick and Pro
Throttle while not as sexy is a good deal cheaper and I can get on in
country.

What is the general oppinion on the CH set up before I spend a good deal of
money?

ever need.

This is dead-on. I've never had a problem with any of my CH stuff, and
I still have a CH Flightstick Pro from around '94 which I can still
hook up and expect perfect performance (and that's after using it for
years in Warbirds and other sims). My main stick is a USB
Fighterstick, and I would say its the best stick I've ever owned.

I've also had CH pedals and throttle with nary a problem in years of
use.

Sticks are personal prefernce, of course, but I don't think you'll
hear many complaints about the quality of CH products.

Ch is the best over all HOTAS available today. I have tried most of them.
The only negative thing I can say concerns personal preference: I wish that
the stick had a bit more "resistence". I have had the CH HOTAS (Fighter
Stick, Pro Rudder and Pro Pedals) for 2 years, and they work flawlessly.
Also, the system programming is complete and simple enough that most anyone
can program what they need or want.
This is one of the great products left on the Flight Simulation market.

The Pro throttle has a "Miniture Joystick" which can be programmed as a
mouse.
