Audigy2 vs Nforce2 Soundstorm??

Ok, after reading the THG on Audigy2, I have a couple of questions...

Firstly, how come there are no reviews out there comparing Audigy2 with Nvidea's Soundstorm. Yes i know the soundstorm feature is the exact same as in Nforce1, but even then it was revolutionary. I mean, hardware 5.1 encoding!! It would be great to connect an optical cable from the Soundstorm to my videologic 5.1 decoder/amplifier. A comparison between the Audigy2 against Sounstorm regarding other aspects (eg. sound encoding, noise ratio etc) would be helpful. Yet there is nothing on the internet regarding the Soundstorm!!???

Nope, I can't answer your question. But I thought that I would post so you knew I at least read your question. I would also like an answer because I will be buying an nForce 2 for my next upgrade. I would like to save money on sound if it performs adequately. I doubt it is comparable to the Audigy2, but I wonder if it is a better choice than my SB Live! value.
