I am just starting out learning C++, and Im looking for a good compiler to use in Win XP Pro and Win 95c. I got some software with a book (Turbo C++ Lite), but It does not want to work on either system, even though it is set up normaly. Im strapped for cash, so I am looking for something that is free, or is not that expensive.

Thanx! It says it has stripped a lot of things out so it would be good for an experianced programmer. Ill give it a try anyway.

I've run it in Win 95b so I presume it will work in 95c.

i can understand your situation, but i strongly recommend
you get any other C++ program like borland c++ 5.0,or the visual c++ 6.0 from microsoft and you won´t have any problem.
any questions about how to program in c++, just ask me .
