I recently purchased Samsung 512MB PC3200 memory from you along with the copper heat sink. The heat sink has some type of plastic pad or tape on each side on the inner surface.
Also included was a loose piece of what appears to be double sided tape.

Question: How do I mount the heat sink to the memory stick?????????
Is there anything that needs to be peeled off the inner plastic tape?????
Please help!!!!!!!

Thanks for your response.
2 clips as a matter of fact. Is the white "tape" on the inner side of each side some sort of heat conductor between the memory chips and the copper?? If so I guess I leave it alone. What do you suppose the included piece of double sided tape was for??

It sounds like your heatsinks had thermal interface material on them, the clip holds the sinks on. If for some reason you couldn't clip them one, you would have to remove the thermal interface material and use the double sided aluminum foil tape.
