Hi All,

I have recently upgraded to a Motorola V3 and I am absolutely disgusted
by the "Ringer ID" settings on this phone.

It is insane that the same "Ringer ID" is used for calls and messages.
No other phone I have used with personalised ringtones has this limitation.

This limitation makes personalised ring tones on this phone unusable.

After first investigating I thought, in the "Ring Styles" menu under
"Ringer IDs" th option "Calls only" would exist. I turned to the forums
after this only discover it is a common problem with Motorola phones.

Is anyone aware of a hack to change this behaviour?

Is motorola aware of this issue?

Regards,

Nick.

Yes Nick_the_Greek, Motorola is aware of this. I believe you notified them
per your howardforums post.
Actually, since they designed the phone I think they've always been aware of
it.

Enjoy your Moto
