EAW Error 7217

I installed EAW version 1.0 on my XP SP2 P4 with a GForce 6600 Card 256 MB.
I downloaded and installed patch 1.2. When I try to start the program I get
the following error in a small dialog box

Error Num: 7217

I changed the resolution in the .ini file to 1152 by 864. Same problem.
Anyone know what the problem is?

which drivers for video?

use 66.93 not the 77 drivers it breaks game
