Dvd-rom driver not sowing in my computer

Does your BIOS see the optical drive during bootup? are you able to boot off of a CD? If yes to both questions then your optical drive is fine and just needs to be setup in the OS properly. if the bios does NOT see the optical drive or you cannot boot from it, it may be defective. you can also check cables.

driver sawing in boot up. and also in BIOS but i didn't try for boot a cd
