Played hookey from work. Took my new (to me) motorcycle around the neighborhood a few times. Got some work done around the house to keep wifey off my back. Got my motorcycle permit (test was pretty easy, road test next week I hope!). Hit some golf balls. Came home, asked the wife about dinner. Suggested restraunt in town, she suggested HOOTERS!!! Hot waitress with a NICE arse and long legs (kinda lacking the restraunt's namesake a little, but still hot!)
very content... One more thing on my to-do list.
"Honey, come here!!! Isn't it about time for us to go to bed?"
Did I mention that the kids weren't home?

w00t, I could make that into an elite cafe-style race bike!

Now, if the Cubs hadn't gotten smacked around like bitches, I'm sure it would have been even better! Poor old Prior's still shaking off a bit of rust, it seems. Maybe they'll get to finish the series 2-2 this afternoon, with Zambrano against Marquis.

Yeah, Cubbies didn't do too terribly well. The only good thing was I watched most of the game, and I saw the parts where we were close. When I went into the DMV to get my permit, we were down by only two, but they were threatening... I come to find out inside that they were getting nailed, but luckily I wasn't wasting any time on it...
It was a clean little Jeep. Older one, with fresh paint... Not much bigger that stk. tires on it. But I though it was something like you'd be driving around!!

My Jeep is pretty much stock... It needs a little work, but it runs well... And there are no cartoon characters on it!
Actually I have a robe with Grumpy & Sleepy on it (it was a gift from the Mother in Law, and it is nice and warm). And it says "I'm Grumpy because I'm sleepy", which fits pretty well too...
So I know I got grief coming, but just remember that once you have kids, and they get a little older, you can't walk around in your underwear anymore...
Aww, maybe this'll be their year. Pitching gets you through the playoffs, and the Cubs are loaded more than the Cards, although Carpenter has been a pleasant surprise.

What year model is that Suzuki? Did you rebuild it?
I had a Honda CB1100f, but had to sell it to get to Seattle. I really miss my bike. One of these days, I'll break down and get a new one.

I love my bike, a 2003 Yamaha FZ1. Just about to hit 9000 miles after 9 months on it. I'm hoping this summer my brothers and I will take a long trip up to Canada or something. A couple thousand miles is what I'd like, but I'll have to finish fixing up my house so I can put it up for sale.
Gah, to do list for the next few days:
-Hang dry wall and backerboard in shower, tile shower stall.
-Install shower door.
-Touch up bathroom drywall/texture and put in baseboards.
-Reseat loose toilet.
-Hang missing fascia back on side of house.
-Put molding around newly installed french doors and install knob/lock.
-Probably replace some missing roof shingles.
-Bunch of loose ends.
Atleast I'm out of school now, and have some other people helping out. I REALLY hate tiling though...

I had a similiar great day yesterday. So I was driving on a 4 lane road (Street Road, where Smarty Jones came from, the Philadelphia racetrack) and in the middle of an intersection my truck completely shuts off. Ooh [-peep-], i thought, it wouldn't even turn over. I had to get out of it in the middle of rush hour and wait till a tow truck came. A "saftey fuse" blew leaving me stranded. I love saftey devices. A good day after story but at the time I was furious. I couldn't even think about pushing the truck, people are nuts at rush hour.
I believe it is a '78. It belongs to a friend of mine in Sheboygan. He sold it to another friend down here last year, but the guy never made any payments. This year, he was going to sell it and pay Sheboygan, but I said I wanted it and I would take it and pay him. So I got it!!
Woo hoo!!
Hopefully in a year or two, I can get a new one. Depending on what is out there, this is the one I am currently eyeing.
Yeah, pretty happy with today's game, except I didn't catch it until the 8th inning. No radio reception in our office . 9 hits in a row, and all with 2 outs!!! Almost broke the old record of 10 in a row, set by, oh yeah, the Cubs!!
