When ever i turn my PC to sleep over night it wakes from sleep at 3:45AM and stays on i did the 'powercfg - lastwake' and this is what i got [SERVICE] /Device/Harddiskvolume1/Windows/System32/svchost.exe (wuauserv)

I ran task scheduler and no programs start at that time.

Please Help! this is the only problem with my PC so i want no errors

sounds like your automatic updates is set for updates at 3-45am

go to

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Update\Change settings

and change it to a time to suit you

+1+1.....because:

Quote:
SERVICE] /Device/Harddiskvolume1/Windows/System32/svchost.exe (wuauserv)

SCVHOST is for services that run via DLLs therefore (WUAUSERV) is the update service.

i think 3am is the default setting for some weird reason

you could test it by changing time on the pc to 2.59am then put it to sleep and see if it wakes up in 1 minute
