i'm trying to install the latest ide drivers for my hardware, but i'm getting an error saying i must first "uninstall the SiS SCSI IDE drivers"
i uninstalled what was called the SiS Bus Controller or somethin like that, but it didn't help, what drivers are these that i need to uninstall? thanks

it also says "Please use SCSI driver setup to uninstall driver"
what is that?

Do you have any virtual SCSI drives installed e.g. Daemon tools? What about ASPI drivers? Try uninstalling those first.

How did they get there in the first place? You should be using standard MS drivers.

Can you give us some specifics as to Motherboard etc etc.

It's not what they tell you, its what they don't tell you!
