Hello, I've recently bought a new desktop with a TL-wdn4800 wireless device. when i start up i instantly get full bars for my wireless however after about a minute, it drops down to one bar, and becomes hardly usable. i'm wondering if this is the device turning itself off and reverting back to the default inbuilt wireless device? if so how do i stop this? and if not does anyone have any suggestions?, I'm a newb with computers so any help at all would be appreciated

try going to device manager
click on network adapters
find TL-wdn4800
right click and hit properties
go to power management tab
uncheck this box- "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

have you tried reinstalling? or finding a driver update? any troubleshooting?
