GPRS access via Virgin - help please

I am having problems setting up a Motorola V60i with GPRS access using a
Virgin sim card. I can achive intermittent access to the Virgin mobile
bites
stuff but cannot get to any other wap pages such as bbc.co.uk/mobile. After
a long period of waiting I usually end up with a message such as server not
responding. Any suggestions what I might try (other than use another phone
and service provider!).
