Here we go again.

Did it possibly occur to you that people might be so involved in flight
sims themselves that they don't bother coming around this shithole
anymore? Right now we've got IL2-FB, Falcon 4 Allied Force, and BOB2,
not to mention CFS3 w/ Firepower, LOMAC Flaming Cliffs...the list goes
on. Personally, I'm so busy with IL2 that I get herer MAYBE once a
week. I don't miss this place a bit, either.

Well in these type of days.

Flight simulators are not really popular anymore. The popular games
today are, fantasy style role playing games with a dice rolling combat
system. And first person shooters by far.

I am somewhat a big fan of flight simulators especially combat ones.
Doesn't matter if it was realistic or not.

I still play flight sims and this one I play is the subscrption based
Jumpgate(see my sig below).

My favorite massivly online multiplayer game:
Jumpgate: http://www.jossh.com - http://www.themis-group.com/jg/
A space simulator and role playing game with a skill-based flight
system.
Joystick is recommended!

Flight Simming alive and well.
However, usenet just doesn't play the same role anymore like it did a
few years ago. A lot of activity/discussions moved to (moderated :)
forums and sites, each one catering to a specific sim. Hell, even
Scharmers showed up on Frugalsworld :-D
