Answering Machine Drops Wireless N Connections

This is strange. Starting maybe two weeks ago, whenever my answering machine picks up, my wireless N connections drop.

1. It happens on my XPS8500 almost every time.

2. It happens on my home laptop maybe 50% of the time.

3. It hasn't happened on the work laptop yet (also wireless N), but that hasn't been used much at home lately.

4. The phone ringing, or making a call, is problem free.

5. The DSL and Ethernet over A/C power connections (TV and BluRay player) are unaffected.

The only thing new in the equation is the XPS8500, but that's over a month old.

Any ideas?
