Tascam Cd D4000 MkII Problem

Hi,

I need some advice regarding the Tascam CD duplicator. It seems to me,
that this unit cannot copy to CD-R's having 700MB capacitiy. I tried
several brands (Mitsui, Taijo Yuden etc). Unfortunaltely 650MB CD-R's
are no longer available.

Does someone know, if there is a firmware upgrade for the D4000, or if
it is possible to replace the writer drive by another one compatible
with the 700MB media?

In the worst case scenario I'll have to trash the unit. Any
recommendations for a replacement ?
