Netgear WNDR3700 annnooooying

Dears,

Please help, I couldn`t make this router work. I have just bought it from ebay, but i am disappointed after working on it for 4 hours without luck
I have just can`t connect to login page for router settings. The LAN connection not works as i see yellow exclamatory on LAN icon :S , modem lights are lights normally.
So i have reset router, but still no luck. Please let me know how can i make it work.

are you getting an IP from the router?

How to check that if i am getting IP from router? I just know that there are some IP problem as they can`t communicate.

While connected to the main router go Start then Run in XP - (Windows key plus R in Vista and Windows 7), then type in the following, including all the spaces:- cmd /k ipconfig /all -- then press Enter and from the black form that shows up, take a note of the numeric code beside the word "IPv4 Address" -- usually something like 192.168.1.50. Type exit to close the black form.

should the IP start with 169. you are not getting an IP from the router

My driver works normally there are no problem on device manager and i have also checked my LAN port with other DSL modem. Any other solutions ?

so with the computer attached to the modem directly do you get internet?

Yes I am getting internet with full speed. I have also tested this router with other PC which is on Cent OS and got same results

it sounds like the router is a dud.

actually i see all router lights works OK with their order.
Is it possible to install firmware with other way except LAN cable like with USB or some SPI connection.

It is solveeeeeeed
I have reseted this with 30/30/30 and restored frimware and it work OK now.
