Response from the wireless router or access point

Hello,
I am using Windows 7 and Netgear router and trying to set up the wireless network and keep on receiving the message - problem with wireless adpator

Is this a known problem with Netgear WGT624 router?

The message your receive says problem with Wireless Adapter and being that the Router will not respond with an error to you I am going to say your issue is with your adapter, but it is probably driver related so address that.
