copying mp3's

can someone tell me how to copy data mp3's from my cd disk to my hard drive? i keep getting an error message "the parameter is incorrect". your advice is appreciated in advance.

that's what i'm trying to do is drag and drop and i keep getting "the parameter is incorrect" message. my op system is win xp and i copied my data mp3's from another computer that uses op sys win me. i'm trying to place my mp3's on my hard drive. thanks

Try copying a cd to your computer and converting to mp3 with something like winamp, or try copying mp3's from another computer (preferably one that isn't using WinME).

See if you can narrow the problem down.
