Going to do a system upgrade mobo/cpu, etc...and it's been awhile so I'm a little out of touch with what path to go down for the upgrade.

I was set to get P4 (2.4 or higher) system with 512MB of DDR memory but now I see there is RDRAM (PC1066 or PC800) available. Which is the way to go...DDR or RDRAM? Also what type/speed?

what will you use your system for is the main question rdram is the fastest but by far not the most attractive

Remember the time You used 20Mb harddrives
