Okay so I got a problem with my computer, it is brand new and nothing is on the hard drive. I have got windows 7 on USB and cd and tried both, this is the problem. When it gets to the setup so expanding files ect of the windows 7 installation when it finished the list off 4 things to do it just restarts my computer and than does the whole process again and restarts the computer again and just same processes. It happens with Windows 7 disk and also windows 7 iso file on my USB. What the problem with this?

I tried your suggestion, problem I have is that I take USB out than select hard drive as bootable device than it goes into starting windows, completing initial setup than it shuts down. Nothing happens, I restart it and same thing happens. To make computer powerup I have to turn it off and on from the back than it will turn on. Can anybody help me, I have tried 3 different windows 7 32bit and 64bit still same problem.

It was pre built. Safe mode is there, I go on it but it does same thing. The problem is that windows isn't fully installed on hard drive for some unknown reason and it just says all these errors that I been saying for past 2 posts. The hard drive is clean, there nothing on it?

just wondering what motherboard they put in

on my gigabyte board i had a similar problem if i tried to install windows on the marvell or jmicron sata controllers but if i shifted

to the intel controllers then it installed fine

did you get it locally to you?

or posted to you?

What do you mean move around the SATA cable, is this the cable connected to the hard drive? If so what do you want me to do, put a different SATA on it?

Also my motherboard is a ASROCK 970 Extreme3

yes its the cable connected to the hard drive

but i meant move the end of the cable connected to the motherboard to a different sata port controller

but it looks like your board all the ports are controlled by one controller so probably wouldnt help

is your hard drive set to ahci in the bios? or ide?

whichever one its set to try the other then try reloading it from scratch
