What terminal command is there to send to my PC on my network to shutdown?

use logmein, and it can do it

windows xp has the "shutdown", I'm not sure if a linux system will halt from ssh.

sudo shutdown -h now

Sorry didn't read the PC part, cuz this is a mac forum, that's how you'd remote shutdown a mac
