Will a wireless router/modem bought in US work in India?

I came across this model with great reviews

This may be a dumb question. But I am curious.
Will this model work in India?
Are there some bandwidth differences or something?

It will work if you have a laptop from the US, but it might not be legal. Most countries have restrictions on what radio channels can be used within their boarders, so it depends on whether India allows all the US channels.
