384 DDR 2100 or 1024MB SD 133??

my motherboard supports both DDR and SDRAM, i was wondering which is faster performancewise the 384 DDR or 1024 SD? i dont really care wether the DDR is safer for future compatible , i just want performance rite now, the price of getting 2 * 512 MB SDram is quite cheap in my country. thanks

Go for 1024 SDR, as it is 3 times capacity more than the 384 DDR and the more the merrier. The capacity of 1024MB can cover the performance difference between SDR133 and DDR266 more than enough.
