How do I change the ssid network name on my dell laptop E6500 laptop?

There is a slight variation in method to do it based on OS but it is under the wireless network. The normal default method is to to just click on the network you want to connect to and it will create a network for you. If the SSID is hidden or you are setting it up with the router turned off you must use the manual option. Many times it does not say SSID it just says network name. You key it into that box.
