Get Certified in Network Cabling (Cat5, Fiber)

I received a C-TECH certificate for Network Cabling Copper- Based Systems,But would like to get a certification . How do I go about doing that?

That company has their own tests are you sure the certificate you have is not their form of certification. Pretty much anyone who takes one of their classes and does not sleep though it gets the certification.

Be vary careful about spending money on stuff like this. Most cable installers learn on the job. They start out being the guys who lug the cable around and stand on ladders and pull the cable though the ceilings. Something that you can learn in a week of study has very limited value to a employer, most companies if they feel this is beneficial will pay for training.
