How to change 64 bit os 7 0 to 32 bit?

how can I use Windows 7, 32bit, as opposed to 64 bit I have installed, I have expensive older software, that is only 32 bit, and cannot install it

As to changing, if you have a retail copy of Windows 7 - 64 bit, you also have Windows 7 32 bit. If you have an OEM copy, then you SoL .... you'll need to buy the 32 bit version.



sounds easy enough, however I cannot even install my software.......nevermind running it in compatibilty mode, so....as I read this, what I am to understand is.......I need a clean install of Win 7....at 32 bit, yes?

i believe so. sorry been a long time since i messed with it. the instructions on the win7 forum are most likely a good guide.
