Can anyone help?

I am trying to use multple instances of windows media encoder on 1 computer. version 7.1 ( i cant use 9 ) requires a sound card for each instance even though i am not using it. does anyone know of a cheap sound card that its drivers will support multple cards in the same windows me computer? OR even better soem softwear sound card simulator so I dont even need a sound card.

humm, details. ok

I have 4 cameras that i wish to stream at the same time. these camarea are usb cams and that part works fine, however media encoder 7.1 cannot just stream video without audio and each encoder looks for a sound card, thus the reason i need to put 4 sound cards in the computer.

So you are doing this live? I do not think you can put 4 sound cards in one computer and have them not try to be the default one.
What are you outputting to? Maybe better software. You may have to network 4 computers! hehe
