It's called a licence. Crucial doesn't have an RDRAM licence, and was one of the manufacturers to lead the fight against Rambus's illigitimate claim on DDR technology, so I doubt they ever will have such a licence.

Samsung is king right now and thing wont change samsung increase spending on R&D when others reduce it to meet profits.Simply samsung hold the high margin ram graphic DRAM RDRAM and a nice part of PC 2700 and DDR 400.PC 2100 and SDRAm price is so low that most lost money with it or make very small profit.

Now what to do??
