did most tracking with a motu 828, but we're doing a few odds and ends
with the G4's soundcard.
problem is -- we can't seem to monitor record-enabled tracks.
have tried everything -- hardware settings are all set to built in.
audio bundles are going to the stereo 1 and 2 built-in channels.
audio patch through is selected.
are we missing something? is the mac's card not full duplex? we can
hear everything on playback, including newly added tracks through the
sound card. and we can see all our levels. just can't hear while
tracking.

I would think that being that the 828 is an all in one device for inputs that
it may want to send everything coming in it thru its outputs. I don't know
about the Mac card as I always use my MOTU 24i and card for sound and I use it
as a dedicated recording system. I have tryed the little speaker on the front
of the CPU just to see if it works but never even saw any need for it.
