MS-DOS Editor in Win7 64-bit

i just switch from MS Win XP 32-bit. but it seem that MS-DOS editor in MS Win 7 64-bit is no longer existed. so..

  • 1. is it relevant to keep searching another n put it into this environment MS-DOS at system32 @ i should just go for another 3rd party editor?

  • 2. the from my Win XP 32-bit actually a 32 or 16-bit?

    The 64 bit version of windows can't execute dos programs as they are 16 bit. Win 7 64 bit can only run 64 bit and 32 bit programs. If you just need an editor, try notepad++ or metapad.
