I am trying to copy a file from my laptop to desktop via ad-hoc system i get like 2.2 ~ 3 MB out of it from 56 Mbit connection can I get rid of this limit?
That's about as good as it gets. On wireless you will rarely, if ever, see sustained speeds greater than 1/2 of the theoretical max. In this case 1/2 of 56Mb/sec is 23Mb/sec and is roughly 2.3-3MB/sec.

Even when they are next to each other, Ohh the HORROR!
