Resume from Sleep drops Overclock

Last response: in Windows 7

I am having some issues with Windows and resuming from sleep.
I have an overclock of 4.2 GHz and everything works great, but after I resume windows from sleep, the clock drops to normal Turbo Boost Ratios ranging from 3.4 to 3.8. Naturally after a restart the clock goes back to 4.2 as if nothing ever happened. Any ideas as to what this might be? Thanks for any input.

Note: I have tried Disabling various power functions in the BIOS such as EIST, C1E, etc.

Does not sound like a Windows 7 problem.

More likely a BIOS or motherboard issue.

How did you setup the overclock, the BIOS or via software?
