Can I externally decode a DTS EX (6.1 discrete) signal coming from a DVD on my cpu through either the spdif or optical out on a SB Audigy2 Platinum? I have DTS EX DVD's and DTS EX reciever/amplifier.
PS: other than the cables used, what is the difference between spdif and an optical connection- i.e. diferrences, pros, cons, recomendations
