Computer is Booting Very slowly

computer is Booting Very slow...i did a clean Boot,changed the paging file
i changed the wait to kill process in registry, still my computer Boots slowly and goes to log in screen... help me with any registry Tricks??????

OS:Win 7
MODEL:cq42 Hp Laptop
RAM :2GB
HARD DISK: 320GB
Free SPACE :200GB

I tried to Do factory Restore its says factory image is not avilable
i have Recovery D: but unknowingly i deleted the factory image Recovery...
Help in in fixing or Factory Restore(i dont have the OS Disk)

Not sure if anything you can do will make that boot any faster using 2 gb of slow ram along with a very slow mechanical hard drive.

once it Boots it works Much Faster....only booting process is slow..

i have pretty much the same specs but running on a desktop. I'd personally try a check disk combined with a defrag to see if that helps. Also would go into msconfig to delete unnecessary files starting up post boot.
