Cannot locate wlan driver

Hello,


I purchased a wireless usb adaptor from maplin (U.K. Electronic store), the device is home branded and I lost the driver cd.

It auto detects as rtl81885 but I located the driver for windows xp pro sp 3 but it says it's not the right driver and I'm unable to contact the store at this moment as they're closed.

Is there any way you can help?

There is no I'D and I googled the serial number with no matches.

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

That reference is to a Realtek device so you should be able to find the right driver at their website.
