I'm also trying to decide on a case for a new system. So far I've decided on the power supply, Antec True Power either 480 or 550w. For the cases I've narrowed down to Antec, Chieftec, Coolermaster or Lian Li.
Quick question on Lian-Li cases... I have checked out the LianLi website.. and many of the cases look the same, but different prices?
some that i seen look the same have a 50$ difference and stuff...
i just wante a Basic Lian-Li case, Four 5.25" bays, and i really only need 1 3.25 for the floppy, but they come with like 3..
What are the differences in a few of them if someone can help me out. thanks
This site should have most of the info you need. From what you've said, the
PC602 sounds like it would do all that you need. I would recommend the venerable PC60 though. For the little extra cash you get an extra cooling fan and a slide out motherboard tray.
I just bought myself one of these Super Flower cases. As far as quality goes, they're about as good as a Lian Li case, but they have an extra 2 cooling fans and have quick release connecters for buth the USB and motherboard connectors (The Lian Li's only have them for the USB connectors). Here in Aus they end up costing less than a Lian Li case as well. (Although this particular one will work out more as it comes with a 400W power supply)
