computer forums cant read memory card

I have an hp P6310F desk top that shows all card readers on my computer but does not recognize my sony memory stick pro card. What is the problem? I hope that somebody can help.

Look in device manager for error for the device. Driver may need updated, or rolled back to previous version, or downloaded from Vendor's site.
