1 Gigabyte of memory and XP Pro

Does Windows XP Pro take advantage of 1 gigabyte of memory? Is there any benifits of having 1 gigabyte of memory. I'm putting togeter a new system for video editing and was wandering if I can benefit from extra memory.

I am not positive, but I am sure that XP-Pro will take advantage of a full Gig of RAM. Since you are planning on video editing I would get the gig of ram because it will make a difference with the memory hungry programs you will be using.

I'd be surprised if the RAM doesn't help for what you will be using it for.
