I work in a small structural consulting firm and I wanted a solution to a problem that we recently faced. During a CAD design process, upon requests from clients, we have to make constant revisions to the drawings that we make. Because of this, sometimes it's hard to know which .DWG file is the latest one (meaning which one is the latest revised version of the same drawing). I was wondering whether there is a way that one can archive the older versions of the same drawing and thereby avoid serious frustration and unnecessary time-wasting in the office. Deleting the old files is easy but would not be the wisest option if a need arises to refer to those old files.
