I listen to 1 hr radio interviews on streaming audio which I make into
1 track 1hour mp3 files. I had been burning the file into an audio
cd. My portable Cd player resumes where I was listening after the
player is stopped. Are there any mp3 players that can do that? The rca
lyra(64 mb) always restarts at the beginning of the track, so I lose
my place. Does anyone use mp3 for hearing a long track(book, lecture)
that will resume playing when you restart it?

The Archos players running RockBox do this and IMO work better for audiobooks than any of the others I have tried.
