how do make a wirless router password

You need to use that 192.168.1.1 and enter it into the browser address bar and the will bring you to the user name and password login where you put in the current user name and password. Once in the browser you can go to the security tab where you have the option to make a new password.you can either make a new regular password or you can use the wep/wpa security key generator to make an encryptied pass code/key or pass phrase. WPA being the newer and better encryption. Make sure that you write the password or pass phrase down because you don't want to lose it. If you have the instructions that came with the router you should be able to follow the instructions to do this.
