RAM Timings Defined

Can anyone post a quick definition of the various parameters in the RAM timings (e.g., 3-2-2-6). I have done some research and most folks out there seem to want to overwhelm you with their brilliance on the subjects rather than a couple of sentence definition, an explanation of the values, and an indication of which direction each setting is more aggressive vs. more stable.

This would be a GREAT addition to the FAQ!

i too think this would be a great addition to the forum, and would like to know what those numbers mean. Good question Uther.

2-2-2 1T? WTF? is there 3 numbers, or four like uther has? 3-2-2-6? Why is the last number so much larger then the others?

FYI, I could be off on the number of values I have, but I have definitely seen values like 4 and 6.
