Max Memory with WinXP

I have Windows XP Pro, and 1GB of memory, but when i goto Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> System Information it says i have 768 total and 778 free, lol that doesnt make sense, i was wondering if there was a fix for this, thanks. oh yeah im running a 1.4 Athlon 266, KG7-Raid 1GB DDR2100, Radeon 7500, also the latest BIOS for the mobo.

Hi.

Go into system.ini and add the line under the heading [386enh] MaxPhysPage=40000. That'll do ya. It tells the system you have a gig of memory and to use it. Heck, make it 80000 for that extra cushion, or 60000 if your squemish.

XP does have a system.ini doesn't it?.
